Who are MK Community Foundation?

MK Community Foundation are a grant giving charity supporting the communities in the borough of Milton Keynes. As part of that support, we deliver the car raffle to give local not-for-profit organisations the opportunity to raise funds for their cause. Below is a summary of the different organisations you can support by buying a raffle ticket.

1st Crownhill Scouts

  • 1st Crownhill scouts is a scouting group, part of Milton Keynes scouting district, operating for over 25 years. It prides itself on providing life skills to young people of all ethnicities and social backgrounds, helping them to take part, building their confidence to gain trust in team working, both indoor and outdoor, creating an environment of fun and learning, in society, and in each other.

African Diaspora Foundation

  • To help increase self-respect and encourage talent, we hold traditional music, fashion, and dance workshops where we allow our young people, express themselves through these creative means. Our organisation works to stop gang violence and knife crime by taking young people off the street.

Age UK Milton Keynes

  • Age UK Milton Keynes is an independent local charity. We have been working to improve later life in the borough of Milton Keynes for over 40 years. Age UK Milton Keynes works with and for older people to make a real and positive difference that contributes to their wellbeing and quality of life.

Alina Orchestra

  • Alina is a professional orchestra that serves its local communities and believes that music is for everyone - The orchestra performs accessible concerts that gently introduces audiences to classical music. We also believe that music is at the heart of wellbeing and promote our work with mental health services, dementia care services, homeless charities, schools and any other group who might benefit from our services.

Als Pals

  • We are an independent Cancer support charity for patients in Milton Keynes. We offer a listening ear and conversation to help ease stress and provide companionship

Arthur Ellis

  • Arthur Ellis provides children, young people, and vulnerable adults with subsidised 1:1 support for their mental health and emotional well-being with no thresholds or waiting lists. We help hundreds of people access meaningful support every month across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Arts & Heritage Alliance

  • The Arts and Heritage Alliant Milton Keynes is a forum of organisations that work together to position the arts and heritage sectors as strategic contributors to the community and economy of Milton Keynes. We promote, represent and develop arts and heritage collaboratively delivering or supporting exciting activities.

Autism Early Support Trust Limited

  • Autism Early Support exists for children who need specialist education, support and therapy, so that they have the tools and confidence to communicate, explore, play and engage with the world around them. Autism Early Support exists for parents who want to do more to better understand and meet their child’s needs; and we exist for practitioners and professionals who want to improve their own knowledge and skills in working with children with autism and other communication difficulties.

Aylesbury Vale & Milton Keynes Sexual Assault & Abuse Support Service

  • We support all individuals that have been affected by sexual assault and abuse to live fulfilling lives regardless of gender, race and sexuality. We do this by providing a safe space and using enabling and empowering approaches

Bosom Pals

  • Bosom Pals is a locally based charity established in 1991 to help ladies and their families going through Breast cancer. We have monthly meetings with guest speakers on a variety of topics. We also have an afrternoon tea at Dobbies for tea/cake and a chat once a month. We have a website and can help with phone and email contact. We have been meeting over zoom in recent months. in 2020 Bosom Pansl MK was presented with a Queens Award for Voluntary Service.


  • We are a caring group created for parets and family members of loved ones suffering from addiction. The group is run by volunteers, all of whom have lived experiences of dealing with an addicted loved on. We all have the pasion to help others going through simillar circumstances. We help hurting families.


  • DREAMSAI are a local charity doing inclusive work with diverse communities. Based on the teaches of Indian Saint Shirdi Sai, they support homeless community with cooked food and essential items, deliver free food parcels to vulnerable families and schools, promote blood donations from ethnic minorities, organise spiritual events and celeberate indian and diverse festivals or various faiths.

Emily's Star

  • Emily's Star is a local childrens charity caring for babies born prematurley and children with complex needs from birth until 25. Raising awaress of Trisomy 18 as we go.

Hanslope 326 Club

  • Hanslope 326 Club provides breakfast, after-school and holiday childcare to local children. At 326 we know that play is an important part of a childs development and our staff support the play process at all times. The club is a non-profit charity organisation managed by a committee of elected volunteers. This ensures makor decision making is in the hands of those who use the club.


  • Headway Milton Keynes supports adults with an acquired brain injury and their families. We offer a range of services including advice and information, social opportunities and weekly activity and rehabilitation sessions. Our aim is to increase confidence and independence, reduce social isolation and to supporting our clients to achieve their personal goals.

Lions Club of Bletchley

  • As part of Lions Club International, the largest non govermental organisation in the world, we raise money from the general public in a variety of ways and distribute it to international, national and local cuases, organisations, appeals and individuals, who apply via our Community services Commitee, We also commit to various activites in support of local groups and individuals, giving assistance often when no other agencies can.

Men in Sheds MK

  • Men in Sheds MK promotes the health and wellbeing of the community through the provision of facilities for woodwork, metalwork, crafts and electronics, together with the opportunity to meet others with similar interests

Milton Keynes Christmas Day for the Elderly

  • We deliver a memorable Christmas Day to the elderly in our community; we escort them to the venue, provide refreshments, a fabulous Christmas dinner, quality entertainment, lovely gifts, fun and companionship, which is remembered long after the Christmas decorations have been put away. We cater for Approximately 100 elderly guests who would otherwise be spending Christmas Day alone, and we have a fantastic team of volunteers who donate their own time to ensure that our special guests have a Christmas Day to remember.

Milton Keynes Irish Welfare Support Group

  • The welfare group runs a weekly lunch club for the over 65's providing not only a freshly cooked lunch but a keep fit session and the services of a welfare officer. The members also run their own weekly raffle and bingo. They also hold regular tombolas and book sales. Our aim is to ease social isolation of the over 65's within the community through social interaction.

Milton Keynes Play Association

  • Milton Keynes Play association is a charity that runs free access outdoor children’s play events through the school holiday and in door play and crafting events during the Autumn and Winter months. With your support we can get over 12,000 children every year active and loving play.

Milton Keynes Pride Festival CIC

  • Milton Keynes Pride Festival brings an incredible inclusive and accessible event, showing support and diversity for the LGBTQ+ Community of Milton Keynes!

Milton Keynes Rowing Club

  • The Milton Keynes Rowing Club is a friendly and inclusive group providing the community of Milton Keynes with a thriving rowing facility open to all. People can participate at any level from recreational rower to elite athlete. The club provides a supportive atmosphere helping members to achieve their full potential and derive the health-giving benefits of participating in sport within an attractive natural environment - from 16 - 80+ all ages are welcomed and catered for.

Milton Keynes Sea Cadets

  • We are a uniformed youth organisation. We provide education, training and physical activities for young people aged 9-18 years.


  • Mind BLMK is an independent local charity, which has been supporting the communities mental health and wellbeing for over 40 years. They support over 4,000 people each year, across Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes. Their current services include community-based peer support groups, counselling, crisis support, activity and wellbeing groups, workshops and training, specific support for those experiencing hoarding and personality disorder, and 1:1 mentoring.

MK Community Foundation

  • Milton Keynes Community Foundation (MKCF) is a leading grant-making charity sending funding where it's needed most in Milton Keynes. By guiding businesses, philanthropists and charities to the right giving and grants, MKCF is on a mission for a fairer community with a strategic goal to build a resilient, creative, inclusive and philanthropic community.

MK Hospital Radio

  • MK Hospital Radio provides information and entertainment to all patients in the hospital there by relieving their sickness and aiding their recovery. The service is free to access, 24 hours a day via the hospital wifi, being run and maintained entirely by volunteers.

MK Kids with Diabetes

  • MK Kids with Diabetes is a local voluntary group under Diabetes UK which supports children and young people with type 1 diabetes and their families in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas

MK Reader Service

  • Milton Keynes Reader Service offers a free reading and writing service for visually impaired and disabled people, who find reading and writing difficult due to their disability. We also offer a free facilitation scheme to enable people to participate in activities outside the home including shopping, adult educational classes, concerts, theatre and museums.

MK Springers

  • “Gymnastics from tots to teens for the whole community of Milton Keynes” Open to all levels, abilities and genders.


  • Established in 2014 as an independent charity specialising in dance, MÓTUS has been running events and projects embedded within the community throughout Milton Keynes. MÓTUS is committed to delivering the highest quality of work within dance across the region and open up opportunities for all - with no barriers to cost - across a variety of settings.

MS Centre

  • The Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Therapy Group in Milton Keynes, is a small independent charity established 28 years ago - predominantly offering Hyper-baric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to members with MS. Their services over the years have extended to members with other medical conditions too - such as M.E., arthritis, cerebral palsy, stroke and cancer. The Centre also developed links with local professional sports clubs, such as The MK Dons, who send players with sports injuries for HBOT. The MS Therapy Group, continues to be run by a team of dedicated volunteers, supported by the Directors and Centre Manager and has always been solely dependent upon their fundraising efforts and donations.


  • We are the Milton Keynes Branch of the National Autistic Society. Our committee is made entirely of parent volunteers working to provide information and support to people in Milton Keynes affected by autism and their families

Newport Pagnell Swimming Club

  • We are one of the oldest swimming clubs in Britain, 125 years old this year. We provide swimming lessons to children who wish to compete in competitions. We are a non profit, volunteer run club.

Offset Projects

  • Offset Projects is a Milton Keynes based Community Interest Company working through the arts to engage and support 0-25 year olds, schools, and youth settings. Our work nourishes the creativity and wellbeing of children & young people, supporting them to develop the tools to respond to today so they can better shape their tomorrow.

Pandora Inc

  • A not for profit organisation creating, supporting and promoting opportunities for meaningful inclusion of marginalised groups on both a strategic, community and individual level through collaboration, workshops and consultation.

Peak Empower

  • Our mission is to promote the positive use of recreational activities to improve well-being in marginalised groups by providing clubs and courses to help empower and to help individuals gain confidence in themselves.
  • Our aims are to:
    • Improve well-being, confidence and self-esteem through recreational activities
    • Increase number and availability of inclusive clubs
    • Decrease social isolation
    • Provide lectures and training on inclusion
    • Reduce negative perceptions of disability, mental health and disengaged youth

Phoenix Tri MK

  • We are a not for profit community Triathlon Club catering for young people 8-18 and are based out of Sir Leon Academy, Bletchley. Our motto is "Finish Lines NOT Finish Times" as we are more interested in our members enjoying the physical and friendship aspects of the sport rather than striving to be the best.


  • PoetsIN helps those that struggle with mental health and wellbeing by utilising their Creative Mental Health Programmes™ and Wellbeing Workshops™ whilst educating and advising those that don’t struggle but want to know more about mental health and wellbeing and how to keep their minds healthy.

Ride High

  • Ride High using horses and an associated educational programme to transform the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children and young people in Milton Keynes. We effect lasting change in their attitude, self-confidence and life prospects so they become happy young people who are positively engaged in the outside world.

Tread the Boards Theatre Group

  • Tread the Boards is an amateur dramatic group attended by keen Milton Keynes residents. We have managed to continue meeting over zoom throughout the pandemic producing varied projects and picking up new technical skills. We are very much looking forward to performing in 'real life' soon.

Willen Hospice

  • We are the only adult care hospice in Milton Keynes, our hospice is run by local people for local people. We deliver calm, compassionate, special care for our patients coming to the end of their lives.

Winter Night Shelter

  • We provide year round care and support for rough sleepers, sofa surfers and anyone at risk of homelessness or are vulnerable.

Wolverton and Stony Stratford Rotary Club

  • Rotary is a non-political, non-religious, humanitarian organisation. Our Rotary Club supports our local community and international good causes. We meet regularly and enjoy food and friendship and are always open to new friends. Rotary Clubs meet regularly and membership represents a cross-section of the community. The Rotary motto is "Service about Self". Our vision - Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change - across the globe, in our communities.


  • YiS Young People's Mental Health is a long running independent charity that works in Milton Keynes to help young people as well as the people that support them. We provide counselling, education, training, 1:1 wellbeing coaching, and more to improve mental health and wellbeing in the local area.
